Child Stages
Use these guidelines to offer age-appropriate activities for your baby. Remember, these are just guidelines, and a healthy child may achieve a milestone later than average. If your child is lagging in several areas, contact your pediatrician for advice.
Newborns
Babies are called newborns during their first month of life. Although our
newborn sleeps a lot, powerful changes are occurring in the five major areas
of development. Click on each month to see what different physical, cognitive, emotional, language and sensory skills are associated with each age group.
